Hoover washing machines tend to score from average to excellent for energy use and annual running cost in our tests. However, some models we've looked at scored very poorly for noise and quite poorly for rinsing efficiency.

Most of the Hoover washing machines we’ve tested have load capacities of between 6kg and 8kg - which is about average. We've also tested two machines with 9kg drums and a larger washing machine that can take up to 10kg. Standard wash times vary from 1h 34min to 2h 58min, while easy care wash times vary from 53mins to 1h 13mins.
