BEKO CONDENSER DRYER
This is an update from my earlier review in May 2012. The earlier problems persisted as previously reported. Dryer then started to overheat so much so that the casing would burn your hand if you left it on the appliance. Engineer agreed that it was unsafe. I bought an Indesit condenser dryer about a month ago and it is working like a dream. The Beko has been scrapped. I wouldn't touch Beko with a barge pole.

Very soon after puchase the valve of the water collector broke meaning that the floor was soon covered in water when used. Took over a month for a new one to be fitted. The engineer fitted it without testing and left. It has never really worked as well as when we bought it. This is defiantely not a product I would recommend. Replacement was way too slow and so cannot recommend the company either. Should have looked on Which first.

Had the dryer for four months and it would often indicate that the water tank was full when it wasn't . It then stopped collecting water in the tank but still indicated that the water tank was full . Engineer replaced a broken valve and the machine is working as it should. I hope it continues to do until the guarantee runs out , but I fear that should it go wrong outwith the guarantee period, I would cut my losses and go for a different manufacturer.
