Vacuum cleaner reviews: Owners' views

We spoke to thousands of Which? members to find out how satisfied they are with their brand of vacuum cleaner.  We've compiled your views to bring you satisfaction scores for big-name vacuum cleaner brands, to highlight those which should give unrivalled satisfaction, and those you may like to avoid.

Upright vacuum cleaners

We received responses from owners of uprights from brands including Miele, Dyson, Sebo and Vax, and our customer satisfaction table features 13 brands in total.  To see how individual models from these brands score in our tough lab tests, visit our vacuum cleaner reviews page.

The customer score shown in the table is a combination of owners' satisfaction with the product and how likely they'd be to recommend it to a friend.

Our member feedback shows a big gap between brands when it comes to customer satisfaction. The brand at the bottom of the table gets a score of only 47%, while the top performing brand gets 86%. Six brands received scores of less than 55%.
