Which? review of Moneydance

We found Moneydance to be a good, professional package. A very clear welcome panel can be personalised and gives a clear overview of your financial position, including the balances of your accounts, a net worth figure and a calendar showing bills to pay, a summary of this month's expenses and a reminders box. Navigation between pages is easy and there is a handy transaction search function.

Another plus point is its chart generation capabilities with all sorts available, including expenses, income and asset allocation. There is even a separate box for exchange rates.

Income and expense categories are pre-entered, saving the user time. These categories can be added to, deleted and edited. The program remembers expenses and auto-allocates repeated transactions to the same expense category. There is also a handy address book.
