Making a flood claim Cleaning up
Don't start repairs until the flood is over
It’s important that you don't rush to redecorate your property as it may take some weeks for it to fully dry out. Before you start with any repairs, remember that water levels may rise and fall for several weeks after a flood and the Environment Agency advises people not to attempt any repairs until they are confident the flooding period has ceased.
Keep an eye on weather reports and call Floodline (0845 988 1188) for the latest flood warnings.
