24 August 2006
Sony has unveiled a limited edition pink PSP which is due to hit UK shops in October.
The new model is the result of the entertainment giant’s collaboration with the rock star Pink.
Sony’s Stephane Hareau said: ‘The Pink PSP launch is much more than just launching a new colour. It is about a confident and powerful attitude for young women. The association with Pink, a worldwide icon and musical chameleon, will enable PSP to push new boundaries.’
Exclusive track and video
The Pink PSP Value Pack is released on 27 October and will cost £169. It will include a selection of music videos, an interview with the star and an exclusive track not available on any Pink album in Europe.
Since the European launch of Sony's Black PSP in September 2005 and the Ceramic White PSP in May 2006, PSP is now in the hands of more than 4.5 million consumers throughout Europe.
