A new long-haul, low-fare air service starts at Britain’s biggest airport today.
Tour operator Canadian Affair, in association with Canadian holiday airline Air Transat, is starting Heathrow to Toronto services from £198 return.
Flights will depart each Saturday and Sunday from Heathrow using Airbus A310 aircraft.
Canadian Affair already operates flights between Gatwick and Toronto and also flies to Canada from six other UK airports.
The company’s managing director Anette Rayner said: ‘We are delighted to introduce low-cost services from Heathrow.
‘British travellers now have the option of flying to Canada from this premier airport, while taking advantage of our lowest fares – which are widely available, unlike some other operators.’
