Japanese car maker Subaru has unveiled pictures of its new, top-of-the-range Impreza WRX STi.
The car debuts at the Tokyo Motor Show at the end of October and will go on sale in the UK next March.
Which? will test-drive the Impreza WRX STi in Japan later this month, and we'll report back on our findings.
Motoring Editor Richard Headland said: ‘Earlier models of the Impreza WRX STi have been saloons, but this is the first one in hatchback form.
'It's likely to be one of the UK's hottest hatches when it arrives next year - come back to the Which? cars website at the end of October to find out.'
Subaru will also use the Tokyo show to unveil a seven-seater ‘Exiga Concept’ car - which resembles a larger Legacy estate – and an environmentally-friendly electric car with lithium-ion batteries stored underneath the floor.
It has a triangle-shaped body and is expected to last 200 kilometres per charge.
