Supermarket chain Tesco has recalled a batch of its Whole Foods Natural Seed Mix after it was found to contain the potentially deadly salmonella bug.

Salmonella is the second most common cause of food poisoning and symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and, in some cases, very serious illness or even death.
The Food Standards Agency says it is not aware of any reported cases of salmonella linked to this recall.
The affected products are Tesco Whole Foods Natural Seed Mix 100g, with a batch code of L7243A . They have a best before date of February 2008.
No other Tesco products or batch codes are known to be affected.
