Nokia unveils 'eco-friendly' phoneHandset uses renewable materials

Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia is looking to boost its environmental credentials by unveiling a ‘green’ mobile phone.
It claims the cover of the Nokia 3110 Evolve is made from more than 50% renewable material.
Nokia adds that 60% of the mobile phone, which has no release date yet, will be made from recycled materials.
Nokia also says the handset will have its most energy-efficient charger.
Which? mobile phone expert Jon Barrow said: 'It's believed that there are now more mobile phones in the UK than there are people, so it's more important than ever that new handsets are as environmentally friendly as possible. This new phone is definitely a step in the right direction by Nokia.'
