Nintendo’s much anticipated virtual fitness centre, the Wii Fit, is already selling out in the UK – a week before it’s even launched.
The Wii Fit, which hits the UK on Friday, 25 April, offers users 40 different exercises and games and four different types of workout.
But enthusiasts may have some difficulty getting their hands on the £69.99 game.
A message on the Play.Com website says the game is currently sold out while a message on the Amazon website says that stock is currently unavailable and it doesn’t know ‘when or if this item will be back in stock.’
Game.co.uk has also stopped taking pre-orders for Wii Fit but customers can leave their email address so they can be notified when more stock is available.
However, Nintendo has said other retailers are still taking pre-orders and that consumers should shop around to get a copy.
But is Nintendo’s latest offering the answer to your fitness woes or simply a case of hype over substance?
