Ford unveils new version of the KaModel will debut at Paris Motor Show in October

Ford has announced it will debut the new version of the Ka at the Paris Motor Show in October.
The original version of the Ka was launched in 1996 and went on to become one of the most popular small cars of the past two decades.
We understand the new Ka is based on the same platform as the Fiat 500 and Ford says its designers have given the new Ka a fashionable, modern appearance.
The new version is more chunky and with more angular lines than the original but still retains some of the ‘bubble’ shape of its predecessor.
Ford maintains the interior of the new Ka will also have a stylish, dynamic design.

The company has produced more than 1.4 million Kas over the past 12 years and Roelant de Waard, chairman and managing director of Ford of Britain, said: ‘We are very excited about the launch of the new Ka.
‘The original has been a huge hit in the UK with a sales record of over 480,000 – 80% of which have been to retail customers, and many of those first-time buyers. I'm confident that the latest design will prove just as big a hit.’
Further information on the new Ford Ka range will be released in time for the Paris Motor Show in early October.
