Kodak launches wireless photo framesBoth have Wi-Fi for accessing the net
14 August 2008
Kodak has released two wireless digital photo frames which allow you to directly access picture-sharing websites.
Available in 10-inch and 8-inch versions, the frames have built-in Wi-Fi to connect to sites such as Flickr and Kodak Gallery.
You can email photos directly to the frames, and also receive news and traffic updates.
Users can control the frame with a touch or slide of the finger along the ‘Quick Touch Border’, a feature which also ensures the screen is left fingerprint - and smudge - free.
The frames store up to 4000 pictures directly on their 512 MB internal memories, while two additional memory card slots are also available.
Kodak also says customers will be able to customise the frames to match the decor of their home.
Two decorative mattes are included in cranberry red and silver colours, while there are optional faceplates in a variety of colours which can be snapped onto the frame to update the look.
The 8-inch W820 costs £149.99, while the 10-inch W1020 costs £179.99.
