Luxury car manufacturer Bentley has released its exclusive laptop range, costing £10,000.
The laptop, called Ego for Bentley, is hand-built with white-gold frames and, the Bentley logo. The exterior is in Bentley leather and finished with crossover hand stitching, to match the interior of a Bentley car, according to the company.
The lacquered inside matches the car’s most popular exterior paint colours and the laptop’s handle is modelled on that of the Bentley car door.
The computer has Windows Vista Ultimate, a 64-bit processor and a 160GB hard drive, Wi-fi, Bluetooth and webcam.
Only 250 of the computers will be made, and will be available from this autumn.
‘Even during the credit crunch, some brands are able to woo consumers with deep pockets,’ says Which? technology editor Matthew Bath. ‘If you need to unleash a powerful laptop, there are plenty of other models that feature similar specifications for a fraction of the price.’
