Hot car deals, 31 October 2008Renault Grand Scénic for 'mini money; Fiesta deals
31 October 2008
It’s Halloween, and if your old car’s turning into a bit of a pumpkin on wheels, why not check out these fantastic car deals on new and used Renault, Fords and Vauxhalls…
Market Watch – new and used deals
Grand Scénic from just £11k
There is a new Renault Scénic somewhere over the not too distant horizon. But in the meantime don't even think about paying full price for the current version.
For example, Motor Provider has a variety in stock, including the seven-seat Grand Scénic in Dynamique trim with 2.0-litre petrol engine for £11,495. That’s more than £7,000 off list price and cheaper than several we could mention.
And what's more, Motor Provider is also offering five years 0% car finance, or a minimum £2,000 part exchange trade-in (subject to status).
Old Fiesta looks good value
The new Ford Fiesta is flying off dealer forecourts – with more than 3,700 already sold, Ford tells us. This just means the previous shape Ford Fiesta looks increasingly good value as a used car.
Motorpoint, for example, has 07-reg 1.4 diesels (amongst many others) in stock in Zetec Climate trim including aircon from £6,995. With only around 12,000 miles on the clock and an economical engine, these Fiestas are a tempting choice.
Finally, Network Q, Vauxhall's officially approved used car scheme, is having a Halloween sale this weekend.
Approved Vectras for £7k
Example prices of what will be on offer include 58-plate 1.8 petrol Vauxhall Vectras (now replaced by the ) in sporty SRi trim for just £7,195, and 57-plate 1.8 petrol Zafiras in basic Club trim from £7,995. See your local participating dealer for more details.
