Shoppers will get up to 50% off at John Lewis stores when its post-Christmas sale begins tomorrow.
Stores are no longer waiting until January to start their sales, with many slashing prices before Christmas Day.
John Lewis started its clearance sale online at 6pm on Christmas Eve – the earliest it has ever held the ‘post-Christmas’ sale.

With analysts predicting 2009 to be a gloomy year for retailers, John Lewis and other high street chains will hope the post-Christmas sales will draw in customers eager to get knock-down prices.
