Zavvi's administrators have said that 15 Zavvi stores have closed, though 48 continue trading.

Zavvi, which sells music, games and other entertainment, fell into administration on Christmas Eve, crippled by the collapse of Woolworths' Entertainment UK wholesaling division, which supplied it.

Joint administrator Tom Jack said that Ernst and Young was still looking to progress with 'a number' of parties interested in buying the business, so did not have a formal closure plan for the entire store network.
