Market Watch - new and used car deals
Carfile keeps piling on the Ford deals. Not content with selling Ford Kuga’s at £16,499, it’s currently offering 2.0-litre turbodiesel S-Max for £14,999. That’s in Zetec trim, new and unregistered from dealer stock, ready for an '09' number plate.
There’s a choice of colours, and that price it represents a £6,483 saving.
Drive the Deal has a decent discount on an unregistered Skoda Octavia Estate. It’s not one of the newly facelifted Octavias, but it is fitted with a 2.0-litre ‘common rail’ turbodiesel, and finished in metallic black in sporty vRS trim with loads of kit.
This Octavia is yours for £17,225 – a £4,865 saving over the £22,090 list price.
New-shape Golf
Savings on new Golf
Here’s a neat used deal. Autobytel has a brand-new, latest generation with just 25 miles on the clock. With a nice 2.0-litre turbodiesel and in sporty GT specification, it’s a desirable car. And at £17,989, it’s £1,826 less than VW’s listed retail price of £19,815.
Finally, Nissan is currently offering free diesel upgrades on new and Micras. So, instead of the usual 1.4-litre petrol, you can get a 1.5-litre turbodiesel for the same price. With no diesel car price premium to skew the petrol vs diesel calculation, you'll save money on fuel from the word go...
The offer applies to Notes in £11,745 Accenta trim, and Micras in £6,995 Visia trim, and represents a saving of £1,070 and £1,600 respectively. See the Nissan website or your visit your nearest Nissan dealer for more details.
