Shoppers prefer John Lewis for toiletries and cosmetics

John Lewis has launched an ethical and eco-friendly campaign across all its stores and online.

Called Make a Difference, the campaign will run until 4 April and will feature demonstrations of products claimed to be green.

Green products

Among the products available will be energy- and water-efficient appliances, FSC certified cookware, Fairtrade food and organic linens.

The campaign follows a plan announced by the government to make fashion more environmentally friendly. 

Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Marks and Spencer were among the retailers to sign up to the plan.
