Which? Local trader service lists job pricesRecommend-a-trader site also launches award

Which Local logo

A Which? service that lists local tradespeople recommended by Which? members now displays how much you should expect to pay for a job.

Which? Local now features a costs section, where you can search for the price of hundreds of home improvement and repair jobs from building an extension to clearing a blocked drain.

This means you can find out from Which? Local the typical price for a job - and a reliable tradesperson to carry it out.

Which? Local award

Which? Local is free and exclusive to Which? members and features thousands of reviews of local traders and businesses around the UK.

As well as improving the site, Which? Local has just begun a search for the UK's best local traders. We're launching an awards scheme recognising great customer service from local businesses.

There will be regional and national winners in several categories and one winner will be announced as Local Trader of the Year 2009 when the annual Which? Awards are announced in June.

Recommend a trader

We need members to recommend their favourite local shops, traders and businesses, to put them forward for the awards.

All reviews submitted before 6 April, 2009, will be entered into a draw to win £2,000. Terms and conditions apply.
