Citroen Xsara Picasso more than 50% off
Citroen Xsara Picasso provides practical family transport at an extremely low price
Citroen itself provides one of the all-round best value deals we’ve seen in a while.
As part of its current range of promotions Citroen is offering a tremendous £6,400 ‘cashback’ discount on the Xsara Picasso 1.6-litre 110 petrol in Desire specification. List price for this practical people carrier is £16,395 – so the saving brings it down to just £9,995.
However, it gets even better if you’ve got a 10-year-old car to trade in, as Citroen is offering the full £2,000 scrappage allowance on top of the cashback. This means you could drive away in a Xsara Picasso for just £7,995 – that’s less than half price.
The Xsara Picasso might be an old design, but it’s hard to argue with that kind of family transport value.
Super fast Vauxhall VXR8 for under £28k
Vauxhall's VVR8 muscle car is bristling with horsepower, but doesn't have a supercar price tag
Turning up the heat somewhat, internet car broker Carquake is advertising an excellent saving on Vauxhall’s four-door supercar, the VXR8.
The VXR8 is a 155mph, 6.2-litre V8 muscle car originating from Australia. With 425bhp it’s the most powerful car Vauxhall has ever sold, and already spectacular value at the £36,670 list price (including automatic gearbox).
However, Carquake’s VXR8s, located at Thurlow Nunn Vauxhall, are new, unregistered autos, available for just £27,995 – a discount of £8,675. It's a lot of car for the money - and the discount will pay for plenty of fuel...
See Carquake's website, or call Thurlow Nunn direct on 01603 919147.
Save more than £6,000 on an Audi A4 Avant
The Audi A4 Avant is a well-finished family estate, and the turbodiesels are efficient and refined
Looking for a good deal on the latest Audi A4 Avant? Well, we’ve found one.
Or rather, three, to be precise. Motorpoint has managed to secure a trio of 58-plate 2.0-litre TDI 143 turbodiesels in nicely equipped SE trim, and is selling them at £20,599 apiece. At the time of writing these were the lowest priced 58-plate A4 estates of this specification on the Auto Trader website.
List price for a new A4 Avant with similar equipment levels (optional 18-inch wheels and pearlescent paint) is at least £26,685. The saving for buying used: £6,086.
And the best part? The lowest mileage example has covered just 3,304 miles.
