Marks and Spencer will be selling some products for just 1p each to kick off its 125th birthday celebrations.
Marks and Spencer said the Original Penny Bazaar sale at all its chain stores from next Wednesday, 20 May, harks back to when it opened in 1884.

Customers can choose up to five products at a price of 1p each from a commemorative Marks and Spencer range including jewellery sets, scarves, cufflinks, ties and socks and leather passport holders and luggage tags.
Marks and Spencer chief executive, Sir Stuart Rose, said that there would be 2 million items available at 1p each, and customers would get them on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
But shoppers don’t have to wait until next week to try and snag a bargain. Debenhams is holding a ‘summer spectacular’ until this Saturday, 16 May, with up to 25% off products in all its departments.
