Nokia has announced three new mobile phones: the Nokia E72 smartphone, the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, and the Nokia 3710 fold.

Nokia E72

The Nokia E72 is the successor to the popular E71 handset. It features a full qwerty keyboard, a 2.4-inch screen and a 5Mp camera.

The slim device will provide quick access to instant messaging services, and features integrated GPS. It will be compatible with Microsoft Office 2007, with free upgrades available as the Office suite is upgraded.

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic

The Nokia 5530 is the latest in the line of XpressMusic mobile phones, a range that Nokia has designed with music and social networking fans in mind.

It features stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Nokia describe the 5530 as a more compact version of the popular 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone.

It has a 3.2Mp camera and a 2.9-inch display. There are shortcuts to popular social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook, and Nokia claims that the battery life is able to provide up to 27 hours of music playback.

Nokia 3710 Fold

The Nokia 3710 Fold has also been announced, which is a mobile phone designed to make mobile internet access appeal to a broader market thanks to its affordable price tag.

Jon Barrow, Which? mobile phone expert, said: 'Nokia is continuing to target mobile phone handsets to a broad market by announcing these three very different models. The Nokia Fold is expected to become available in the fourth quarter of 2009. Both the E72 and the 5530 XpressMusic are expected to become available in the third quarter of 2009, retailing at around €350 and €200 respectively; and each being bundled with a 4GB MicroSD memory card.
