Prefer Mercedes to BMW, and have a little more cash to spend?

Buy A Car has a UK dealer-supplied Mercedes-Benz C280 Sport saloon saloon in stock with automatic gearbox and massive spec list, ready to drive away. This car is packed with high-level sat nav, rear side airbags, AMG alloy wheels and parking sensors - to name just a few of the optional extras.

Priced at £32,495 it’s not exactly cheap - but Buy A Car reckons that’s still a saving of £4,164 over its original list, and the full Mercedes warranty is still intact.

Alternatively, there’s also a £5,133 saving on a stock A-Class five-door. This is an A160 CDI in Elegance SE trim with CVT automatic, and again comes with a load of fitted options - including £2k sat nav, automatic climate control and Active Park Assist.

It needs to be fully loaded, too - since even with that impressive discount it weighs-in at £21,995.

Big discounts on the Saab 9-3 Turbo X

All Approved Cars is currently advertising a tempting Saab 9-3 Turbo X.

Just 500 of these special edition models were sold in the UK, introducing Saab’s new ‘XWD’ four-wheel drive system. They all feature jet black paint, special alloy wheels, unique trim, and a powerful 276bhp 2.8-litre turbocharged V6. They cost a frankly staggering £33,600+ when new.

This example was registered in May 2008, has the optional automatic gearbox (boosting its original price still more), and has covered just 2,231 miles. It’s yours for £24,955 - meaning it’s lost well over £8,600 in value in 14 months, a saving to you that should help cover its prodigious thirst for fuel.
