We've found some cracking bank holiday discounts from the likes of Mazda and Land Rover...
Save nearly £5.5k on Mazda RX-8
Big money off a Mazda RX-8
Fancy a sporty little number for the new 59 registration plate?
Perrys is selling brand new Mazda RX-8s for £18,995. The latest R3 version of this unusual coupé - unusual because of its rotary engine and remarkably practical four-door design - comes equipped with leather interior, climate control and Bluetooth, and is sharper than ever to drive. But will still cost you quite a bit in petrol and taxation to run.
That said, Perrys' price is an impressive £5,483 less than the £24,478 list - which should help ease the pain of the running costs.
Savings galore on Fords
Big discounts on five-door Fiestas
Buy A New Car Online has a number of stock Ford deals to tempt you - but you will need to be quick.
Offers include a pair of pre-registered five-door - a 1.25 petrol Style+ at £9495 and a 1.4 TDCi turbodiesel Style+ at £10,995, representing savings of £3,525 and £3,125, respectively. These are both cancelled orders.
Alternatively, there’s £5,120 off a new, fuel-sipping Focus ECOnetic 1.6-litre turbodiesel - priced at £13,100 it’s the last one left in stock, and finished in Panther Black. Or you can still save up to £7,454 on a Mondeo - of which there are several different trim levels and bodystyles to choose from.
But even if you are too late, and the car you were after is gone, don’t be afraid to use these prices as bargaining chips at your local dealership - car dealers are keen to sell at the moment. If it you can’t match them, you should still see big savings.
New Discovery 4: from £28,842
Save over £5k on 2010 model year Land Rovers
Land Rover has just launched a series of significant updates to its Range Rover Sport and Discovery model lines. This doesn’t mean you should forget about getting a discount, however. Motorlogix is offering decent money off both of them.
Range Rover Sports with 3.0-litre TDV6 turbodiesel are available to order new from £45,671 in fully loaded HSE trim, representing a saving of £5,023. And if you’d prefer the larger 3.6-litre TDV8 turbodiesel, that’s down to £51,342 in HSE spec - a £5,654 saving.
The new Discovery 4 on the other hand can be yours from as little as £28,842 with a £3,154 saving on the 2.7-litre TDV6 turbodiesel GS, while the range-topping 3.0-litre TDV6 turbodiesel HSE auto is discounted by £4,724 to £42,972.
