Panasonic DECT KX-TG6481ET cordless phone handset

Panasonic has unveiled its newest model of cordless phone, that it claims is 'fully prepared to deal with an array of household dangers with no fuss, due to its rugged design and IP54 compliance'. According to Panasonic, the KX-TG6481ET is drip, dust, shock and splash proof.

The features of the KX-TG6481 include a 100-name phonebook, a 20-minute answerphone, and a claimed 17 hours of talk time on a single battery charge. 

The KX-TG6481 cordless phone is available in both single and twin handset packs, and as its GAP compatibility means makes it possible have to up to six additional handsets. 

Each Panasonic TG6481 handset has a speakerphone, belt clip and headset port for hands-free calling. The keypad is backlit and there's a 1.4-inch LCD display.

The KX-TG6481 is an addition to the range of Panasonic cordless phones that Which? has already reviewed, including the KX-TCD240 and KX-TG9150.

The KX-TG6481ET will be available to buy online and at high-street stockists from August 2009 and will be priced at £59.99 for a single handset or £89.99 for a twin pack.
