Audi A6 3.0T FSI has the power of a V8 but lower running costs
More than £11k off an Audi A6
The Audi A6 is getting a little old now, but it was given a facelift last year and has some new engines, including a 3.0-litre supercharged petrol badged the 3.0T FSI quattro.
This unit is supposed to give you the power of a V8, but much better fuel economy. It’s an interesting machine if you’re a petrol enthusiast, otherwise we’d suggest the 2.7 or 3.0 TDI.
Drive the Deal only has two cars available - so you’ll have to be quick. These are new, unregistered saloons in top spec S line trim, complete with automatic gearbox and loads of kit. Spec adjusted, one is reduced from £45,030 to £33,295 and the other from £43,840 to £32,295. That’s an £11,735 and £11,545 reduction, respectively - or 26%.
Save more than £6k on a Jaguar X-Type
Top spec Jaguar X-type for less
The Jaguar X-type is also on its last legs, and surely can’t last much longer. Still if you want value for money, this deal may be worth a look.
Carfile is selling off stock X-type saloons in Sovereign spec for £23,250. These are fitted with a 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine, which unfortunately means only a five-speed gearbox, but represents a saving of £4,674 compared with the list price of £27,924.
And, once all the extra kit is accounted for, Carfile reckons it’s saving you a total of £6,614.
Kia Sorento for under £15,000
Take advantage of Kia's stock clearance to bag a Sorento for less
Finally, the Kia Sorento is about to be replaced by an all new model - just unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
So, it’s no surprise that Kia is keen to clear stocks of the current version, which has something of a cult following among 4x4 enthusiasts thanks to its genuine off-road ability. To do this, Kia has whacked large amounts of money off every model in the Sorento line up.
This means £5,700 off the entry-level XE, reducing it from £20,695 to £14,995; and £4,700 off the higher spec XS, reducing it from £23,695 to £18,995.
Add £1,300 to either version if you’d prefer an automatic. All Sorentos come with a 2.5-litre CRDi turbodiesel engine.
