New Ford Focus under £11,000

Getting any new Ford Focus for less than £11,000 would be a good deal at the moment, but this particular example is on well-specified 1.8-litre Zetec petrol five-door models, with accessories including the Sport pack and Bluetooth.

The list price is £18,061 but, if you’ve got a car to trade in under the scrappage scheme and are prepared to purchase via finance, the Foray Motor Group is offering these brand new Fords for £10,995. That’s an impressive £7,066 total saving and less than most places are asking for the entry-level 1.4 Ford Focus Studio model.

Renaultsport Clio 200

Save more than £2k on a Renaultsport Clio 200

Renaultsport Clio for £14k

The Renault Clio 200 Renaultsport is perhaps the most entertaining supermini hot hatchback you can currently buy. It also used to be something of a budget bargain, but recently prices have been creeping up.

However, both Perrys and Buyacar can save you a useful chunk of money. Perrys has the regular version priced at £14,595 - a saving of £2,620 over the £17,115 list price.

Buyacar can’t quite match that, but is selling the cheaper, less well equipped (no standard air conditioning) Cup model for £14,091 or £13,091 under the scrappage scheme. This Renault model features even sportier suspension and lists at £16,115 – you’re getting a £2,024 reduction.

Executive rep-mobiles going cheap

The latest Audi A4 is gradually getting more affordable on the used market - check out this example from Autoquake.

A 2.0-litre TFSI turbo petrol in top-ranking S line specification would normally set you back £27,835 - and that’s before options. But Autoquake is selling a 58-plater with 13,193 miles for £20,137. That’s £7,698 less.

For an alternative executive express, Autoquake also has a BMW 320d automatic in SE spec available on an 08-plate with 10,924 miles. List price for this powerful 2.0-litre turbodiesel is £28,145 before options. Yours used for £18,849 - a £9,296 saving.
