A healthy £6k saving on Ford's likeable Mondeo
Save £6k on the cheapest Ford Mondeo
Motorpoint has delivery mileage 59-plate going for less than £11,000.
They are, admittedly, the entry-level Edge specification with the 1.6-litre petrol engine - which Ford now only sells as a five-door hatchback or estate in the UK. But with the hatchback version currently listing at £18,045, the £10,999 asking price represents a whopping £6,046 saving and a very cheap, very large family car that is also good to drive.
As Motorpoint points out, you're getting a Mondeo for £236 less than £11,235 the list price of a 1.4 VTR supermini.
Lexus diesel for under £22k
Looking for a little more prestige? Then how about a bargain on a Lexus IS?
Good savings on the compact executive Lexus IS 220d
Carfile has 17 IS 220d turbodiesels to shift before 15 December. They are all well specced SE-I models with 18-inch alloys, full leather, metallic paint and aluminium trim, not to mention keyless go, climate control and six-CD autochanger.
Priced at £21,999, Carfile reckons they represent a £4,668 saving over similarly equipped cars at recommended retail prices.
Nearly-new BMW 730d at £9k off
Upping the ante still further, Broadspeed has shifted its attention from high-end Mercedes to high-end BMWs.
The internet broker is offering models with a maximum of 100 miles on the clock for £9k less than the new list price.
So that’s the very latest BMW 7 Series with its most economical (yet still powerful) engine at a reduced price nearly new.
You won’t be able to specify your own options - obviously - but with official 730d SE prices currently starting at £53,695 that’s a healthy discount on a fine executive express.
