Smart has announced a limited special version of the Smart Fortwo, called the Edition Highstyle.
The Smart Fortwo Edition Highstyle is available as a fixed-roof Coupé variant only, and is based on the top spec Passion model. It’s a truly limited model with just 215 set for sale in the UK, 180 with the 71bhp petrol engine, 35 with the 84bhp petrol turbo.
The exterior is finished in chocolate brown metallic paint with a silver tridion safety cell, aluminium-look ‘highstyle’ badging and 15-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.
On the inside you get leather heated seats finished in – wait for it – metallic silver. Then there’s the leather door trim, leather dashboard, plus leather steering wheel and gearlever finish. Other details are picked out in matt silver.
In addition to all this luxury finishing, the Edition Highstyle features the Passion’s standard Pioneer satellite navigation and audio system with Bluetooth, iPod and USB connections, and five speakers. Not to mention air conditioning and electric windows.
The Smart ForTwo Edition Highstyle starts at £10,900 for the less powerful model. That’s some £2,733 more than the £8,167 asking price for the regular Smart Fortwo Passion.
