Windows 7 outsells Harry PotterWindows 7 is biggest grossing pre-order on Amazon

Windows 7 has over taken Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Nintendo Wii to become the biggest grossing pre-order on Amazon.co.uk of all time.
Over the past three months only Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol has sold more copies than Windows 7, according to Amazon.co.uk, and it says demand for the new operating system remains strong.

In July, Amazon.co.uk sold more pre-order copies of Windows 7 in the first eight hours of its release than Windows Vista managed in its entire pre-order period.
