24 December 2009

The latest Which? freezer tests have found a model that's a worthy new Best Buy, bringing our tally of Best Buy freezers to 25.

The results of the latest Which? freezer test highlight differences in performances from top freezer brands including Hotpoint, Whirlpool and Beko.

Following our latest round of independent tests, the number of freezers in our freezers review is now 85. We have reviewed 12 Hotpoint freezers and 3 Bosch freezers.

As well as freezers, our refrigeration section also includes reviews of the latest fridges, and fridge freezers.

Which? Best Buy freezers

Which? refrigeration expert Carole Shepherdson says: 'You can pay anything from £100 to £750 for a new freezer - but our current range of freezer reviews highlight Which? Best Buy freezers priced from around £120, and yet there are poorly performing freezers that cost much more. Price is no assurance of quality, so read our reviews to ensure you buy the best.’

The latest test includes two models from high-profile brand Whirlpool freezers and a raft of new Hotpoint freezers.

The tests also includes Beko freezers, including one of its recently introduced models, the TZDA504F .
