Dyson launches 'powerful' miniature vacThe Dyson City DC26 is 'engineered for city life'
22 January 2010
Dyson claims its new City DC26 bagless cylinder vacuum cleaner is small enough to sit on an A4 page while 'keeping the performance of a full sized vacuum.'
The new compact Dyson vac is available to buy at Argos from Saturday 23 January, when the new new Argos catalogue is released. It will also be available from John Lewis, Littlewoods and Amazon.

The new Dyson vacuum cleaner has been designed for those who are short on storage space at home. It's a third smaller than other Dyson cylinders but Dyson claims it can still tackle dirt as effectively as bigger vacuum cleaners.
Dyson says the City DC26 - which weighs just 3.25kg - will give a great cleaning performance but without the hassle of having to store a bulky appliance.
It was originally designed by Dyson for the space conscious Japanese market where, according to Dyson, it was the best selling machine by value in 2009.

Which? vacuum cleaner expert Vivienne Fitzroy says: 'We haven't tested the new Dyson City DC26 vacuum cleaner yet but we've put plenty of other Dyson cylinder and upright vacuum cleaners through their paces in our lab.
'Some of these models have performed very well in our tests, so it'll be interesting to see how the smaller sized addition to Dyson's range matches up.'
