A new B-rated condenser tumble dryer has a large drum, plenty of drying programs and a stylish black finish.
The new Gorenje D72325/BK is a condenser tumble dryer which means that it extracts the warm, damp air from the drum and condenses this back into water which is then captured in a reservoir.
It comes with a B rating for energy – which is fairly efficient – and a 7kg capacity which is slightly larger than average for modern dryers.
Tumble dryer sensor
A delay timer means that you can set it to dry your laundry at a time convenient to you and if you have a matching Gorenje washing machine, you’ll be able to stack it on top which will save some space.
It dries using a sensor which measures the humidity inside the drum and there are 12 drying programs including three for synthetics, five for cottons and a mixed program. There’s also a 20-minute refresh program for freshening clothes and removing odours.
Which? expert Matt Stevens said: ‘The popular trend in tumble dryers is for drums to be larger and energy use to be lower – it’s good to see Gorenje building a machine that claims to deliver both.’
