Sony has announced the launch of the BDP-S470 its first Blu-ray player capable of playing 3D movies, adding to the push to bring 3D content to the home. It promises upgrades to existing players so they can show high-definition 3D movies too.
iPhone remote control
Sony says the BDP-S470 will allow the iPhone or iPod Touch to function as a remote control through a free application called BD Remote that can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store. The app will also give you the ability to look up movie details or to search for video clips online.
