Deal of the week: Dyson DC14 upright vacuum cleaner

Which? has been scouring the web this week for the best online deals on the Dyson DC14 Origin upright vacuum cleaner.

Dyson's latest vacuum cleaner, the miniature 3.25kg Dyson City DC26, has been causing a stir since it was launched in January. But you can often find better deals on older models like this Dyson classic upright model, the DC14 Origin.

Dyson is offering refurbished DC14 Origins for £165.37 with free delivery - over £40 off the RRP, but with a two-year rather than five-year guarantee. Dyson says its refurbished vacs have had 'minimal prior use - usually for demonstration or display purposes'.

Alternatively if you're looking for a brand new model and that five-year Dyson guarantee, your best bet is buying from Dixons, where it's priced at £169.99 with free delivery.

Cheap Dyson DC14 Origin upright vacuum cleaners

The DC14 Origin is the most basic bagless upright in this range, lacking some of the accessories provided with others in the series. It's also better suited for use on carpets rather than delicate flooring.

We've lab tested the Dyson DC14 vacuum cleaner, along with 15 other Dyson vacs including the DC25 All Floors, the Dyson DC18 Slim Allergy and the Dyson DC23 Motorhead - read the full verdict on all these vacuums in our vacuum cleaners review.
