Miele Hybrid test results
The Miele Hybrid isn’t cheap and for the hefty £499 price tag you’d expect great cleaning no matter which power source you use.
Which? vacuum cleaner expert Vivienne Fitzroy said ‘Miele vacs often do very well in our tests. We were keen to see what standard of cleaning the Hybrid could deliver on both its power sources, so we carried out some additional tests to find out.’
As with all Which? vacuum cleaner tests, we’ve tested the Hybrid’s cleaning power on a range of floor surfaces and on pet hair. We’ve also looked at how well it retains the dust and allergens it picks up.

Using the Miele Hybrid S 4812
The Miele Hybrid’s dual power function means you might not need a handheld to clean the car or the attic, but to get the best from this vac you’ll want it to be easy to manoeuvre and use.
We test maneourvability and ease of use in all our vac tests so you can tell which machines are very heavy or clunky to use. Which? also tests energy use so you can tell if a vac is a power guzzler.
