The top websites Which? members recommend for DIY repairs

Paying to have things repaired can be costly. So we asked Which? members for websites they would recommend for DIY repairs, finding a missing bit of china or extra bit of home furnishing.

Spare parts

Espares, which sells parts for products such as vacuum cleaners and lawnmowers, was the parts website members most often mentioned.

Others included the easily confused Partmaster and Partsmaster, and Miles Tool and Machinery Centre, which stocks hand and power tools, parts and accessories.

Discontinued china

Chinasearch was the china-matching site most mentioned. Chinamatchers and Matching China were highlighted, too.

How to websites

Which? members also recommended advice-heavy sites, such as Howtomendit, Ehow and Ezee-fix. Dysonmedic was recommended for Dyson vacuum cleaners, while looking at videos on YouTube enabled one member to change the Blu-ray drive in their PlayStation.
