Dyson limited edition Drawing vacuum cleaner

Dyson has released its popular DC24 and DC25 vacuum cleaners in a limited edition 'Drawing' finish, inspired by its original prototype design.

Different sections of the vacuum cleaners are annotated with blueprint details of test times, design ideas and component information, in order to convey and celebrate 'the lengths engineers go to in making their inventions a reality'.

The vacuum cleaners come in white, replicating the look of the laser-style prototype drawings used to develop the vacs from concept to production.

Check out our vacuum cleaner reviews for test scores for 100 vacs we've rated, including 15 Dysons. We've got full lab test reviews of the Dyson DC24 Ball All Floors, Dyson DC25 Ball All Floors and DC25 Ball Animal - essential reading if you're looking for a Dyson vacuum cleaner.

The bagless DC24 and DC25 Drawing vacs both use Dyson's 'Ball' technology for more flexible movement and come with extra tools and washable Hepa filters. The DC24 Drawing is a smaller, more compact and lightweight version of the DC25 Drawing.

Suggested selling price for the DC24 Drawing vac is £289.99 while RRP for the DC25 Drawing is £329.99. The vacuum cleaners are available on the Dyson website and in John Lewis and Comet stores from May 2010.

Cheap Dyson vacs

If you're looking for a cheaper Dyson, you may be better off considering other DC24 or DC25 models. According to Which? home editor Liz Edwards: 'The "prototype" finish on these vacs certainly offers customers an alternative Dyson style - but you'll be paying a premium price for it.'

For example, a quick search online uncovered a DC24 Ball All Floors ball vacuum cleaner for £193.50 and DC25 Ball All Floors ball vacuum cleaner for £221 (not including delivery) at Pixmania.com.
