Style is just as important as performance when it comes to home appliances, according to a recent survey.
AEG-Electrolux asked people whether the look or performance of a household appliance was more important to them when they went to buy a new item - and found a pure 50/50 split between respondents.
Earlier this year the company unveiled its Heart of the Home kitchen design concept, to show the importance of design in ensuring optimal product performance.
