Which? has full test results for the eagerly anticipated Google Nexus One.

Which? has released its latest batch of mobile phone reviews, including our expert verdict on the eagerly anticipated Google Nexus One and the pocket-friendly LG Pop.

Our latest round of lab tests looked at 19 of the newest handsets from Blackberry, Google, HTC, LG, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson. These include ultra cheap pay-as-you-go models, business phones, special rugged and gaming handsets and the very latest feature-packed smartphones.

Amongst this wide range our experts uncovered eight fantastic new Best Buy mobile phones.

Which? Best Buy mobile phones

Which? Best Buy mobile phones combine great battery life with excellent sound quality. They’re also easy to use, for both calls and texts, and can stand up to knocks and scrapes.

To see the current 55 Best Buy models, plus our verdicts on over 175 other handsets, see our full mobile phone reviews page.

We also have advice on how to buy the best mobile phone and how to recycle your old phone, plus video first reviews of brand new models.

Which? mobile phone testing

In our rigorous lab assessment we test each phone to destruction. To check that they can survive everything life can throw at them we rotate them in a wooden drum to simulate being dropped repeatedly and pour water over them in a rain test.

We check the sound quality on calls, how well they can pick up a signal and record the battery life in use and on stand by. We assess the quality of the keyboard and display, and reproduce a range of everyday tasks to ensure they’re easy to use.

And because phones can now do so much more than just make calls we also examine their entertainment features, from the speed of their web browser to the shutter delay on their camera.
