Deal of the week: 60% off a smoothie makerBuy a Russell Hobbs smoothie maker for less
19 May 2010
Which? has been scouring the web this week for the best online deals on the Russell Hobbs 12621 smoothie maker.
Many of us have sunny skies and warm weather to look forward to this week - according to latest weather reports, anyway - making this ice-crushing smoothie maker a good summer gadget for your kitchen.
This smoothie maker from Russell Hobbs has an RRP of £79.99 - but we found Ryness Lighting and Electrical selling it on Amazon for £32.00 (plus £1.20 shipping), giving you a substantial 60% saving on the original price.
It's worth buying it this way rather than directly through Ryness, though, where you'd have to pay shipping costs of £4.90.
Smoothie makers on test
This smoothie maker, which has a glass jug and metallic finish, has a choice of two speeds and a pulse setting, all operated by push buttons. There's also an LED light so it's easy to see whether the machine is switched on.
You can read our full lab test review of the Russell Hobbs 12621 smoothie maker in our smoothie makers report, where our lab experts judged this model on blending time, ease of use and cleaning - and how well it makes fruit and dairy smoothies, mayonnaise and even baby food puree.
