The winners of the technology categories at the 2010 Which? Awards have been announced, with Panasonic receiving the award for best audio-visual brand, while O2 was named best technology provider.
The Which? Awards are designed to recognise those companies and individuals that consistently get it right for the consumer, with the slogan for the 2010 Awards being ‘Who cares, wins’. Panasonic proved itself over 10 audio-visual product areas from TVs to camcorders, while O2 came top for its mobile phone network and broadband services.
Panasonic: best audio-visual brand award
Panasonic scooped their third Which? Award this year. Over the past year, 34 of the 54 Panasonic products tested by Which? have made it to Best Buy status. This gives it a strike rate of 63% – unmatched by any of its rivals. It also comes top in the Which? annual reliability survey.

O2 also does well for its broadband services which came second out of 23 brands covered by the most recent Which? customer satisfaction survey.
O2 won out against Plusnet and Utility Warehouse who were also shortlisted for this award.
