Bosch BSGL3126GB Pro Energy vacuum cleaner

The Bosch BSGL3126GB Pro Energy vacuum cleaner

Which? has been scouring the web this week for the best online deals on the Bosch Pro Energy BSGL3126GB vacuum cleaner.

As its name suggests, the Pro Energy uses less electricity than many other vacuum cleaner models, meaning you'll save - albeit modestly - on your energy bills. It uses 250 watt-hours (Wh) to vacuum 10m2 of carpet; that's 48Wh less than average for cylinders we've tested.

We spotted this model for £86.90 including free delivery at Woolys Home Store (check terms for free delivery exclusions), more than £30 cheaper than several other online stores.

Bosch Pro Energy BSGL3126GB vacuum cleaners

We've seen an increasing number of appliances claiming to have eco or energy-saving features - and vacuum cleaners are no exception.

Bosch says its Pro Energy vacuum cleaners include 'innovative motor technology with aerodynamic blade and perfectly calibrated air flow', while Panasonic recently unveiled its Eco Max upright vacuum cleaner.

We've lab tested the Bosch Pro Energy BSGL3126GB vacuum cleaner, along with nine other Bosch vacs including another Pro Energy model. Read the full verdict in our vacuum cleaners review.

We put all our vacuum cleaners through rigorous tests at our lab to see which are best at cleaning carpet, wooden floors and pet hair. We also test how well a vac retains the smallest dust particles and allergens it picks up – important if you’ve got an allergy sufferer at home.
