Popcorn maker gets the World Cup treatmentGiles & Posner football-shaped popcorn maker
03 June 2010
With only days left until the World Cup kicks off, Which? has been on the look out for football-themed gadgets, gizmos and gimmicks in the shops - and this popcorn maker is our latest find.
This Giles & Posner football-shaped popcorn maker is available to buy in John Lewis for £29.95, with the lid doubling up as popcorn bowl.
The manufacturer says the popcorn maker uses hot air rather than oil to pop the corn, for a 'much healthier' end product and can pop up to 100g of kernel nuts in under four minutes.
Alternatively, football fans planning to watch the World Cup at home could head to the Giles & Posner website for the 'ultimate lads package' - made up of the popcorn maker, a 'cyclone' cocktail maker and hotdog rotisserie - reduced by 50% to £33.16.
