The all-new Kindle incorporates a new electronic-ink screen offering 50% better contrast than previous e-readers, Amazon said.
It also houses a new sleeker design with a 21% smaller body while retaining the same 6-inch-size reading area.
According to Amazon, the new Kindle weighs in at 247 grams, offers a 20% faster page turn than previous models, up to one month battery life, double the storage to 3,500 books, built-in Wi-Fi, and a new graphite colour.
