More expensive washing machines aren't necessarily better than cheaper models, according to our latest round of washing machine tests.

Which? washing machines expert Vivienne Fitzroy says: 'We've just tested washing machines that range in price from £235 to £775 and our results show that paying more doesn’t always guarantee better performance, in these tests some of the cheaper models have scored higher than the most expensive machine.'
