Alfa Romeo MiTo Turismo Sport

Running costs should be low

Alfa Romeo has announced a special edition Turismo Sport version of its MiTo supermini, available with a tempting finance deal.

The Alfa Romeo MiTo Turismo Sport is based on the existing Turismo specification, which already features air conditioning and the Alfa ‘DNA’ adaptive drive system, with its choice of Dynamic, Normal and All-weather settings for the throttle response and steering.

The Turismo Sport adds 16-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, cruise control, 'Blue & Me' Bluetooth and USB connections, front fog lights and a leather steering wheel with audio and phone controls.

MiTo Turismo Sport engines

The Alfa Romeo MiTo Turismo Sport is available with a 95bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine or a 95bhp 1.3-litre JTDM-2 turbodiesel.

The petrol is rated at 47.9mpg, 138g/km CO2 (according to official EU figures) and is capable of 0-62mph in 11.2 seconds and a top speed of 112mph. The diesel returns a claimed 65.7mpg, emits 112g/km, does 0-62mph in 11.6 seconds and also hits 112mph. So both should be affordable to run.

Buying the MiTo Turismo Sport should be affordable, too; the petrol is priced at £12,895 and the diesel at £14,410. That’s £450 more than the standard Tursimo equivalents, yet the additional equipment is valued at £1,610.

Alfa is also offering a finance deal on the Turismo Sport. This means you could be driving the petrol for as little as £199 a month, and the diesel from £219 a month. A £1,000 deposit is required in both cases. Terms and conditions apply, and the offer is subject to status – see your local Alfa Romeo dealer or the Alfa UK website for more details.
