Save £5,500 on a Kia Sedona
Get £5,500 off a top-spec Kia Sedona
Kicking off this selection of deals is a no-nonsense people carrier – the Kia Sedona.
Hardly a glamour model, but the Sedona will seat seven in comfort and this top spec 3 trim level includes such luxuries as powered sliding doors and tailgate, leather seats (heated in the front), cruise control, tri-zone climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, MP3 player connection including iPod cable, six airbags, stability control and no less than 12 cup holders.
On offer for £20,897 at UK Car Discount with the top of the range 2.2-litre CRDi turbodiesel engine and automatic gearbox – a super-smooth combination, if not the most frugal – this represents a £5,533 saving over the £26,430 list price (including metallic paint).
UK dealer supplied, brand new and unregistered, with delivery to your door included.
Mazda 2 for £7,995
Mazda 2: now less than £8k
Here’s an unusually good price on the Mazda 2 – Deal Drivers is offering the entry-level three-door for just £7,995.
This model includes air conditioning, remote locking and alarm, CD-player with aux-in socket, electric mirrors and True Red paint. Admittedly the 74bhp 1.3-litre petrol only manages 0-62mph in 14.0 seconds, with a top speed of 104mph, but it will do 54.3mpg and has fairly decent 125g/km CO2 emissions.
And the Mazda2 is a Which? Best Buy because it's good to drive, reliable, and decent value for money – especially in this case, since list price for this model is £9,820. That’s a saving of £1,825 – nearly 20%.
There is a catch: the offer price is only available in conjunction with a Mazda finance scheme (terms and conditions apply, subject to status). And if you prefer metallic paint it will cost you £8,385 instead. Still a tasty saving on a solid little car.
Offer available until 30 September.
Save more than £2k on Peugeot 107
Save on the Peugeot 107
Continuing the cheap and cheerful theme, deal of the week at Hartwell is a £2,000 saving on the entry-level Peugeot 107.
The 107 Urban Lite three-door features little more than a CD-player with aux-in socket, two airbags, an immobiliser, wheels and a roof. The tiny 1.0-litre petrol engine is, however, capable of 62.7mpg combined while emitting a low 106g/km CO2; 0-62mph takes 14.2 seconds, top speed is 100mph.
However, since the list price is just £8,495, at Hartwell you can currently pick one up for just £6,495. And claim a free Nokia smart phone with sat nav.
Still not cheap enough? Then try Pentagon, which is offering the exact same model for £5,995 – a £2,450 saving. But only in conjunction with a finance plan.
Hot Deal hunters please note:
• Not all brokers deal in UK sourced vehicles, and this may have an impact on standard equipment and warranty levels.
• The term ‘pre-reg’ or ‘pre-registered’ refers to vehicles that are brand new but already registered with the DVLA. This means that you will appear as the second owner in the V5 registration document.
• Beware of unscrupulous brokers who tell you that they will have to retain the V5 registration document for a period of time after your purchase of the car. Vehicles sold this way may be cheap, but there are numerous legal implications and as such they should be avoided.
• With regards to all of the above, always make sure you know exactly what you’re buying before you put your money down in order to ensure you are making an informed choice.
