22 September 2010

Olympus is showing off the Olympus E-5 digital SLR at this year's Photokina camera show in Cologne. The DSLR will cost from around £1,500 when it goes on sale in the UK in late October.

The Olympus E-5 can shoot 12.3Mp still images and HD video at 720p resolution.

The E-5 succeeds the Olympus E-3. It's a sturdy camera with a strong, dust and splashproof body. It features an articulated 3-inch high resolution (920K dot) LCD and can save images and video to either an SD or CF (compact flash) memory card.
